Freedom of Speech

A couple hundred years ago
Between two countries on this earth
Men fought and died to protect what shes worth
Now shes not just a piece of material
Or some sort of useless rag
Shes the symbol of our freedom
Ol Glory the American Flag

Now lately some crimes have been commited
By some cowards with no name
Who took it upon themselves
To send her up in flames
Now I just dont see how it can be
A constitutional right
To destroy what flew so gallantly
Through the peralous fight

And if it were up to me theyd all be in the slammer
Id lock em up tight where the sun dont shine
This is the land of the free and were all together
Freedom of speech well thats mine

Every time I look at the stars and stripes
Im reminded of who I am
And of our fathers that fought our wars
And the gulf and Vietnam
Now weve all got to pull together
To put an end to this abuse
Cause the way that I see it
There just aint no excuse

(Chorus)
