The Hinsons' (formerly Bo Hinsons & Purpose and New Hinsons) are a Southern Gospel trio. The group is headed up by Ronny (Bo) Hinson, Jr.
Started in 1990 after the Original Hinsons' disbanding, Bo Hinson started a group called Bo Hinson & Purpose. This evolved into the New Hinsons. In 1995, they recorded their number one song, Oasis, dedicated to Original Hinsons lead singer, Kenny Hinson, who had passed away that July. Recently, with the Original Hinsons' blessing, Bo renamed the New Hinsons the Hinsons.
