RQM is a Polish MC and producer based in Barcelona. He is known for his mindful lyrical work with European groups such as Tolcha, Jahcoozi, The Tape and Al Haca.
RQM was born in Sosnowiec, an industrial city known for its coal mines and smelting plants located in south-central Poland. At the age of four he moved to Warsaw, the capital with his parents. Shortly after that before he turned 7 years of age they all relocated to New York City. This was to be the city that RQM got his first taste of Hip Hop, and later the NYC Hardcore and Electronica scenes.
