Walk out the door with my guitar in hand
It's just me and not a bid band
We sing some songs that everybody knows
like American Pie and and Every Rose.

So many people come and watch me play
well at least the regulars anyway.
I'd like to thank them for their time
cause if it weren't for you guys
this wouldn't be mine.

We all try to have a good time,
we spill lots of beer and we drink lots wine
and we do lots of shots that we don't even like
while I sit and sing into the mike all night.

Then we all go our separate ways
in our discombobulated fuzzy haze
knowing that we'll meet again
same time, same place until the end.
