Nick "Fandango" Simper is a British musician, best known as the original bassist for the rock band Deep Purple. He was a member of the band from 1968 to 1969 and played on their early albums, including the hit single "Hush." After leaving Deep Purple, Simper went on to play with various bands and pursue a solo career.
