London singer-songwriter Miri has successfully tailored her unique vocals & inspiring songwriting style to create a genuine, distinctive, soulful indie sound. Her voice has been described as ‘organic honey for the ears’ which sums up the mesmerising effect of her music. Miri’s music continues to gain support from across the world with RSPTunes in New York an ardent backer and a fan hearing her music in a Starbucks in the US. Her track Broken City received airplay on BBC London as part of BBC Introducing and her music has now reached the big screen with the tracks Red, Broken City and Blue Skies included in Kate Lanes 2014 British film ‘Fear of Water’ starring Lily Loveless. She performs regularly on the London open mic & gig scene and co-hosts a regular night at The Boogaloo, Highgate. Her unique and evocative vocal sound has led her to be invited to perform around the UK and Ireland. In London that’s included prestigious events such as The Official Bob Marley Birthday Celebration at the world famous 100 Club, a Levi's Fundraiser in aid of UK charity Youth at Risk, Reggae/Ska artist Natty's event Vibes & Pressure and Kensington Roof Gardens.
