Alvino Rey & His Orchestra was a musical group led by Alvino Rey, an American jazz guitarist and bandleader. Rey was known for his innovative use of the electric guitar and is considered one of the pioneers of the instrument. The orchestra had a popular radio show during the 1930s and 1940s and recorded several successful albums. Their music blended elements of jazz, swing, and popular music of the time.
