ZO2 is a Brooklyn-based rock band signed to New York indie label, Riker Hill Records. Melding the funk and swagger of the 70's with modern arrangements, harmonies, and lyrics, ZO2's sound has drawn comparisons to artists as diverse as Aerosmith, Rush, and Led Zeppelin to Stone Temple Pilots and The Black Crowes.
Featuring brothers Paulie Z (vocals, guitar) and David Z (vocals, bass guitar) with Joey Cassata (drums, percussion, vocals), the band’s previous achievements are also noteworthy: David as former bassist in the enormously successful Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Joey in the Las Vegas company of the critically-acclaimed Blue Man Group and Paul as a featured vocalist on Howard Stern’s popular song parodies.
